Employment Process for Service as a CCA Chaplain

Here is a general outline of our employment screening and selection process, so you will have some idea of what to expect. Please understand that we receive many applications for each available position, so the review process can be involved and lengthy. Basically, the process is as follows:

  • Thoroughly review web site.
  • Be in agreement with Corporate Chaplains of America statement of faith and mission statement.
  • Complete online application.
  • Receive an e-mail acknowledgement that Corporate Chaplains of America has received your application.
  • Anticipate first phone interview from Corporate Chaplains of America recruiting staff. This interview will take place during the workday and will take about forty minutes.
  • Following this interview Corporate Chaplains of America will have you complete a temperament examination that will only be viewed by a certified exam scorer, your recruitment specialist, and appropriate members of the Corporate Chaplains of America leadership team.
  • There may be a second and/or third telephone interview.
  • A meeting will be scheduled with one of our local chaplains to allow a time of question and answer for the candidate (2 to 4 hours during the work day).
  • Someone from our management team will conduct a face to face interview. If you are married, we will want to include your spouse in this meeting.
  • A multi-step panel interview will take place in our office in Wake Forest. Depending on your geographical location, you will be flown into Wake Forest for an extended day of interviews or an overnight stay followed by a day of interviews.
  • Next your ten-year background checks will be ordered in the areas of: Credit, DMV, and Criminal Record. During this time, your personal and business references will be contacted as well.
  • Ultimately, if selected to join our team, you will receive a letter describing many details about your future on the CCA team.
